Senior Program Managers at the Swedish Companies Registration Office

The Swedish Companies Registration Office is an authority located in Sundsvall with over 600 employees working together for simpler and safer business operations. The government has given us several important assignments in digitalization and crime prevention. Would you like to join us?

Now you can help create the conditions for the continued development work of the Swedish Companies Registration Office. We are looking for two senior program managers tasked with leading and coordinating programs as a whole, from exploratory phases to implementation in an agile context. With us, you will be part of a competent team with extensive experience that enjoys working together, having fun, and helping each other.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are facing many exciting challenges and are now establishing structures for governance and management of larger assignments by introducing program management as a complement to regular development management. The assignment involves both the development of existing operations and the establishment of new areas of activity. As a senior program manager, you will play an important role in creating the right conditions and structures for our development work, both with and without IT components.

As a senior program manager, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate our programs with a holistic perspective to achieve common goals of strategic importance for the Swedish Companies Registration Office.
  • Plan and follow up on both the program as a whole and various initiatives.
  • Lead and support change processes through collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for financing issues related to the program.
  • Assist in the work with various investigation and decision-making materials, including estimates, delivery plans, and budgets.
  • Establish and lead cross-functional collaborations such as development management within IT, architecture, law, business development, and finance.
  • Identify, follow up, and actively work to minimize risks.
  • Ensure that the work in the assignment is conducted according to the established working methods of the Swedish Companies Registration Office for business and IT development.

You will belong to the development office within the department for digital development and collaboration. The development office is responsible for preparing, planning, and following up on the long-term development plan and development portfolio. The unit is also responsible for planning and following up on the renewal of the Swedish Companies Registration Office's systems from a holistic and portfolio perspective and for driving and leading the agency's business architecture as part of its architectural governance.

The place of employment is Sundsvall or as agreed. We offer remote work, but you are expected to be regularly present at the office in Sundsvall.

The work includes both internal agency activities and cross-agency activities, which may involve some travel for work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant academic education or experience that the employer deems equivalent. You also have certification in project/program management or equivalent experience.

To succeed and thrive in the role, we also see that you have:

  • Documented experience in senior assignment management, program management, or project management within IT/business and in leading complex programs with many initiatives.
  • Experience in a leadership role with a strong focus on communication and collaboration to create clarity and structure, drive implementation forward, and manage internal and external dependencies and expectations.
  • Several years of experience in business development at a strategic and tactical level as well as change management.
  • The ability to express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you also have:

  • Training in agile methods.
  • Training in methods for business development, process development, or digitalization.
  • Experience working in the public sector or another complex organization.
  • Experience in change management and method development within development governance or portfolio management.
  • Experience working in organizations with lean-agile development processes.
  • Very good knowledge of the Office suite, Confluence, and Jira.

As a person, you have the ability to lead, motivate, and coach others with clarity and engagement. With a strategic holistic perspective, you make well-founded decisions in line with the needs of the organization. You work in a structured and goal-oriented manner, plan and organize your work effectively, and ensure that tasks are completed as planned. At the same time, you are collaborative, unpretentious, and contribute to good dialogue, joint solutions, and a strong focus on the organization's common goals.

Do you recognize yourself in this description? Then you are probably the one we are looking for. We warmly welcome your application!
